Mechanic Employment Information
Seaborne Airlines is a flag air carrier operating scheduled service and air tours in the United States Virgin Islands.
Seaborne’s maintenance base is St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. Seaborne’s fleet consists of DHC-6 deHavilland Twin Otters with Pratt & Whitney PT6-27 engines.
Mechanic Applicant Requirements
Must hold a valid F.A.A. airframe and powerplant license. Must hold a high school diploma and be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. A minimum of two years experience maintaining medium twin engine turbo prop aircraft is required. Experience with P&W PT-6, and DeHavilland DHC-6 is a plus. Applicant must be able to interpret maintenance, parts, and structural repair manual data. Must also be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a thriving airline environment.
Senior/Lead Mechanic Applicant Requirements
Our hangar where our seaplanes are serviced dailyIn addition to mechanic qualifications, applicants should have at least four years experience, with at least two years in a F.A.R. 121 air carrier setting as a lead, crew chief, or other supervisory role.
Inspector Applicant Requirements
In addition to mechanic qualifications, applicants should have at least four years experience, with at least two years in a F.A.R. 121 air carrier setting. Must be familiar with RII policies and procedures.
